## Who is @hurricos?
My name is Martin Kennedy; I graduated FCAHS in 2014 and have missed the darn place ever since. I attended the [University of Pittsburgh][upitt-humor] Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences immediately after, and graduated in May 2018 with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics. I then moved to Vermont, and after a brief stint of teaching and working at the [State of Vermont][ads-vt-weblink], I settled into my current job at [PCC][pcc-weblink].
## What is the purpose of this project?
The Hardware Connect was set up with the hope of usefully absorbing the massive surplus of hardware available at [Laboratory B](https://www.laboratoryb.org/), the hackerspace that Martin volunteers at.
## Where and how is this site hosted?
On a laptop motherboard in Martin's closet. [No, really](https://www.laboratoryb.org/skin-and-bones-servers/). I use Docker containers for [Gitlab](https://github.com/sameersbn/docker-gitlab) + [nginx-proxy](https://github.com/jwilder/nginx-proxy) + [letsencrypt nginx-proxy companion](https://github.com/JrCs/docker-letsencrypt-nginx-proxy-companion), which means it is very easy for me to deploy this website and maintain it.
